Chairman of the Board

David R. Walker serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was the General Manager of Sunheaven Farms, a 25,000-acre irrigated farming operation and the largest onion growing, packing and shipping entity in the State of Washington, feeding a growing and diverse onion market worldwide before retiring in July 2016. Dave holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Brigham Young University with minors in accounting and finance.

Susan Anhalt serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of both the Audit Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. Susan is the founding attorney of SLAE Inc., a law firm serving technology start-up and growth companies. Prior to launching SLAE Inc., Susan served as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel to several start-up and growth companies, primarily in the high-tech sector where she gained considerable experience in patent and technology protection, as well as inventor rights advocacy. Susan received her J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and her B.A. in political science from Stanford University.

Phyllis Currie

Phyllis serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of both the Audit Committee and the Compensation Committee. Prior to joining the Board of Directors, Phyllis was General Manager of the Pasadena, CA Water and Power (PWP) Department. Phyllis held several significant positions during her 30-year career with the city of Los Angeles, including chief financial officer of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, assistant city administrative officer and director of the city’s rent control program. Phyllis holds a BA in political science and an MBA from UCLA, and the Program for Senior Executives in State and Local Government from the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Richard Palmer

Richard Palmer is the founder of Global Clean Energy Holdings, Inc. and retired as Chief Executive Officer of the company in 2024. He serves on the Board of Directors. Mr. Palmer was previously a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Mobius Risk Group, LLC, an energy risk advisory services consulting company where Global Clean Energy Holdings, LLC was formed in 2006 as a subsidiary, and he served as President. The company was then spun off in late 2007 as its own entity, which he led as its Chief Executive Officer. Prior to his work at Mobius, he served as the Senior Director of Enron Energy Services. Prior thereto, he was the Vice President of Bentley Engineering and a Senior Vice President of Southland Industries. Mr. Palmer has been directly involved in the renewable and energy efficient technologies business for over 35 years. He has two Executive Business certificates from the University of Southern California.

Noah Verleun was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Global Clean Energy Holdings in February 2024. He was previously appointed President of the Company in April 2022. Prior to that he served as Executive Vice President of Development & Regulatory Affairs and various other roles across the organization since 2010. Prior to joining Global Clean Energy Holdings, Mr. Verleun worked for JP Morgan PWM, Rockefeller University in its office of investments and OC&C Strategy Consultants in London. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and a Master of Public Policy degree from the University of Southern California.
