As an organization, we have pioneered an innovative approach to bio-energy project development, and each senior manager brings a unique and valuable perspective to the team.
Our Board of Directors provides insight and guidance, while advising on the strategic direction of the organization. Comprised of a leading agricultural professional and energy pioneer, the Board provides management with relevant direction and feedback to ensure long term shareholder value is maximized and that all stakeholder's expectations are appropriately prioritized.
Mr. Palmer is President and CEO of Global Clean Energy Holdings, Inc., a multi-national biofuels and renewable chemicals feedstock developer, and Sustainable Oils, the global leader in Camelina research, development and commercialization. He is also a Trustee and President of the Center for Sustainable Energy Farming, a non-profit research center focused on the development of sustainable energy farming practices. Mr. Palmer has over 30 years of senior level management experience where he has brought insight and innovation to diverse companies across the energy industry.
Mr. Palmer was educated at University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business, holds two Business Management Certificates, and is an active member of both the American Council on Renewable Energy and the American Society of Plant Biologists.
Donna Reilly is an accomplished finance and accounting professional with extensive experience managing public and private companies. Prior to joining Global, Ms. Reilly held senior audit positions at a Big Four accounting firm. She currently serves as CFO and Controller for all of Global's multinational operations, which includes nine companies in four countries.
Ms. Reilly earned her Bachelors of Business Administration from National University, with a major in Accounting and is a California licensed CPA.
Dr. Feitelson has thirty years of industrial research experience in agricultural biotechnology and proteomics developing leading edge research tools. He has extensive research and senior leadership experience at Beckman Coulter, GenWay Biotech, Mycogen, Akkadix, and American Cyanamid. He has led research teams, including a team to develop novel methods for controlling parasitic nematodes in transgenic plants. He is an inventor with 13 U.S. patents and 7 pending patents and author of 50 peer reviewed scientific publications.
Dr. Feitelson earned a BS at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD. in genetics at Stanford University. He completed a post doc at the John Innes Institute in the UK.
Jerry Johnson is an accomplished senior IT executive, having founded, developed and exited several consulting and programming businesses designed to assist companies in leveraging technology to generate revenue or create operational savings. Mr. Johnson is an expert in database design, system integration, automation, and fluent in over a dozen software languages. Over his 25 years as a technology professional, Mr. Johnson has helped organizations such as Microsoft, Wells Fargo, Chase, Stantec, KPMG, University of Georgia, University of California, and many others in their pursuit of effectively leveraging technology and data to improve their bottom line.
In addition to his corporate role, Mr. Johnson is on several advisory boards in various industries assisting with the development of technical standards for system integration and data handling. He received a Bachelor's Degree from Colorado University in 1987.
Scott Johnson is a seasoned senior executive with extensive experience in management, marketing, sales and business development, all focused on plant science and agriculture. Over the past 30 years he has demonstrated success in the creation and execution of all levels of the agri-business related supply chain. He held senior management positions at a number of large plant science and agricultural based companies, including Bayer CropsSience and Rhone-Poulenc, where he led high performance teams in the agricultural chemical, biotechnology, and seed markets. He is also active in a family farming operation in California.
Scott earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Entomology from the University of California at Davis, and with an MBA from California State University
Sr. Herrera’s extensive industrial operations and senior level management experience is instrumental in his direction of strategic and operational planning, and production of Jatropha for GCE MEX I throughout Latin America and the Mexican Yucatan Peninsula. Sr. Herrera is a Mexican national and serves a dual role as President of GCE’s Mexican operating company and as Director/General Manager of Asideros Globales Corporativo I, II and III.
Sr. Herrera received his education at the Instituto Tecnològico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a Corporate Finance Specialty - with Honors.
